We created this bug spray for the way we live because we wanted a natural option we could confidently reach for throughout the season. It’s a simple way to help repel mosquitoes, ticks, and biting flies wherever the day takes you.

Crafted by hand in small batches here on our Maine homestead.

Every ingredient in this recipe has a purpose. We carefully selected this blend so each one contributes to a bug spray that we’re proud to use on our own homestead and share with your family.

Distilled Water: Provides a clean, gentle base that helps evenly distribute the ingredients with each spray.

Witch Hazel: Acts as a carrier that helps the spray dry quickly.

Apple Cider Vinegar: A staple in traditional homemade bug sprays for generations, it contributes its strong scent to the blend.

Vegetable Glycerin: Helps condition the skin and balance the drying effects of the witch hazel and apple cider vinegar.

Pure Essential Oils: Create a fresh herbal scent with bright citrus notes, warm woodsy undertones, and a hint of spice while helping to repel mosquitoes, ticks and biting flies.

How to Use

Shake well before each use. Spray liberally onto exposed skin and clothing before spending time outdoors. Reapply as needed, especially after swimming, excessive sweating, or extended time outdoors. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
